Help me understand....
Why every summer do 298279873 Mormons descend on the Philadelphia area selling pest control and security systems??
Why security systems?
Why are they all LDS?
Do they make good money (because my impression is the hours are not the best).
Do they go other places in the country or is Philadelphia just like a hub where thousands of them gather?

They have major marketing centers out here that target BYU and UVU students. The sales people can make a lot of money in a summer if they stay the full summer and get the end of the summer bonus. The managers make bank. We know several who have gone and sold or managed, and some come back after a summer with 150K. Most of them can sell for a summer and not work the rest of the year.
They also come in heavy numbers to Phoenix and San Diego.
apparently the bug boys and security boys descend in Las Vegas and So Cal every summer, too. It's still a baffling occurrence to me anyways...
when you get the answer can you enlighten me.
