How come you can eat a cheeseburger and immediately grow a food baby and feel fatter and disgusting, but you can excercise and excercise and excercise and eat tons of salads and vegetables and still feel like you are struggling to buckle up your jeans? I know I need to be more patient and keep fighting the good fight... These things don't happen overnight...
I'm trying hard, but it's discouraging. I was never a heavy girl growing up, and I hate that since my pregnancy five(!!!) years ago I look in the mirror and literally don't recognize the person I see staring back at me.
I have much more to write on this subject, including some new fitness equipment purchases and the report on adult gymnastics... I'm so tired though I will end it here.

I hear you. It's so hard to lose those pounds and inches, especially when it's hard to find the time (and energy) to workout and change how you eat.
In my experience, it's 70% about the eating and 30% about the working out. When I did Weight Watchers I dropped my first 14 pounds (of 31) without any exercise. And by eating the right foods and making bargains with myself about what I'd eat, I actually ate more than I had before and felt better.
have you read "you on a diet" by dr oz? it really changed a lot for me and i didnt even follow all of his suggestions! the 2 main things i have stuck to have been all but eliminating hfcs and eating 100% whole wheat bread with a little olive oil 30 min b4 dinner. it totally cuts the appetite. i find that my tastes have changed. i can still eat that burger, but probably less than half would totally satisfy me and i dont feel gross at all. i do a little exercise each day-nothing crazy. a little yoga and some walking. i have lost a ton of weight and it was virtually effortless. lots of really good info in there.
