I was so surprised to see a card in my mailbox today with my dad's handwriting on it.
My mom will often send Isaac and I little cards for holidays.
I was pretty tickled to see my *dad* sent me a Valentine's card. And the card is so "me". Pink, leopard print and glittery. Love it!!!

i teared up a little. my dad never sent me a card, but one time during my horrible divorce he gave me a cinderella coloring book and a box of crayons with a note that said "when you were a little girl all it took was a coloring book and crayons to make you happy. i hope this helps a little bit." dads can be so great.
