i often wonder the reason behind the photo choices. i went out with one guy that had a dozen pictures posted. in all of them he had sunglasses on and in about half he was on a motorcycle and the other half he was standing next to a variety of small engine planes. a picture is worth a thousand words and sometimes you should judge a book by its cover. :)
Ha! Well, let's see - I'm sometimes one of those people who wear socks and sandals, even after I learned it was a big no no. I have moods where I just don't care what I look like, as long as I'm modest. But since you're specifically talking about a dating site, the guy is either confident or goofy would be my guess!

yea the pictures people use on dating sites make you wonder sometimes. What they write in their profile is even more amusing at times..
