*bang, bang*

If listening to "The Warrior" by Scandal on repeat play for roughly an hour is wrong, I don't want to be right.... Whatever helps you keep your heartrate up, right? Even if it means embarassing yourself because you don't see your neighbor in his front yard with his dog at the moment you decide to belt out "Viiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiictory is mine!"

...yeah

So I have a question for all you excerciser types out there.
What do you do to prevent this?
I'm hoping there is another answer besides "Wear thick dorky socks".
Will my heels eventually develp calluses?
Or will the insides of my shoes just forever be a bloody mess?

I wear thin Puma socks and do not have that happen. I would go to a running store (even if you are using them for walking or cross training) and have them fit you. Get the brand name of the shoe and then hit up DSW, or search online for the last year model shoe. I have a pair of Brooks I love, but refuse to pay $125 for, so I scout out sales and then buy 2 pairs at a time. Shoes shouldn't make you bleed. And my heels are still soft.

when i saw only the title of your post and had not read it, i started singing that song in my head! lol. shooting at the walls of heartache, bang bang-i am the warrior!!! love that song. still. it came out when i was a kid, so it isnt even the cool retro thing. its the old lady stuck in the past thing. :)
