Can you use these things?
* Black changing pad. The kind that rolls up and you keep in your car. I don't think I ever used it.
* Black Peapod ring sling with rainbow thread stiching. It comes with a little instructional CD. I am a HUGE fan of babywearing. Here is a picture that shows a ring sling if you are not sure what I mean. http://www.slingmeet.co.uk/zolowear-ring-sling.jpg
* 12 pack of drawer and cabinet latches. Unopened. Those little white things that you can put on the cabinets to keep the kiddos from opening them. If you are interested in taking them off my hands let me know.

Pretty Quiet Over Here
Isaac has been:
- Trying to get someone, anyone, to play Candyland (or even worse-- Chutes and Ladders), with him.
- Loving the music enrichment class my mom signed him up for at preschool.
I have been:
- Enjoying spending some time with friends with weekend. I had a lovely time at Becca's birthday party this weekend, and slept over and then ran around the city freezing my butt off while we shopped and ate at Marathon Grill. Sunday I watched a really cute movie Ghosttown. Highly recommend it. Supercute.
- Enjoying my new laptop (from work)
- Saving some serious cash. I went to AC Moore to get Isaac a new bridge for his Thomas the Train set. His broke and I had promised him a new one at Christmas and never followed through. I was all set to pay the 28 bucks when the lady behind me gave me a 50% off coupon. So I saved 14 bucks! Wahoo!! Even better, my aunt let me know about a federal loan thing for teachers in underperforming school districts. If I stay in Pottstown for 5 years they will forgive 17,500 worth of student loans. Hurray! I have all the paperwork printed out and ready to go.
- Watching tons of Scrubs reruns.

Happies and Crappies
Happies:
* New work shoes from Target!!!
* 9 o'clock church. So nice to be done and overwith church first thing instead of having it drag out like when I go to the city. And Isaac was so good at church. He went right into primary. I was so proud.
* Marley and Me. I hate dogs, but that movie was super cute and very family friendly.
* Grapefruit plug-in wall flower from Bath and Body Works. It makes the whole upstairs smell sooooooooooooo good.
* I have been putting off buying new checks forever. I don't know why, but I just never got around to doing it. Then when I was opening a savings account yesterday the guy told me that my checking account had unlimited free checks for life. So that was pretty exciting. Now they are all ordered and free!!!
* I have anoher day off of school next week for MLK day. Wahoo!!
Crappies:
*Seven Pounds. That movie was so terrible.
* The fact that I have a ton of those cloth grocery bags and I NEVER remember to bring them with me to the store.
* Not getting to finish The Tale of Despereax. Halfway through Isaac decided it was a girl movie and insisted on leaving. It was super cute; I want to know how it ends!
* My car needs to be inspected. I don't know when I will have time to get that taken care of.... It's another thing I have been putting off for weeks now.
* Those polar bear commercials where it shows the mother polar bear clinging to a tiny little iceberg due to global warming. It's so sad. Also, that commercial with Sarah McLachlan singing Silent Night about abandoned dogs. Such a downer.
* Putting off writing my lesson plans. They are always hanging over my head. Why am I such a procrastinator????
* All of those silly Housewives shows on Bravo. I love Bravo but I am not a fan of any of those series.

Update
Our pumpkins. The one is supposed to be a skull and cross bones but it didn't turn out so well.
* So we were at Target the other day and Isaac sees the 5.50 movie rack. I agreed to let him pick one out. They had Carebears, Thomas, etc but of course he wants the Power Rangers. We had a little stand-off (a long time ago I let him have a Power Rangers movie and was ABSOLUTELY appaulled at how violent it was. It went right in the trash but he has never forgotten about it). We argue about it a bit and then he goes "That's fine. I will get it when I am here with my grandma." So self confident! I couldn't wait to tell my mom about that one.
* He also had another zinger when we were talking about my birthday. He asked me how old I would be and when I told him 27 he said "That's old." I agreed and he goes "Well you will be old on your birthday, but grandma is old every day". I love it.
* Laundry has got to be the most depressing chore ever. I can't even bring myself to write it on my to do list because you can never cross it off. It's never, ever, ever done. I think I have done five loads this weekend and I still have towels and sheets and ironing. When I worked for Krista Rogers (mother of five and pregnant with a sixth when I was working there) in high school she always stressed that the number one thing she wanted me to focus on was the laundry. I certainly understand why!
* Things with work have been going better. I am settling into more of a routine which is good and I am not spending 4-5 hours after work doing things which is a relief. I am still trying to figure out a way to include more excercise in my daily routine. I pay for a family membership to the Y for me and Isaac but he is the only one that uses it regularly. My dad and I went biking this weekend and I couldn't believe how much I was huffing and puffing. I've got to get more on the ball.
